PLYWOOD CASEWORK
Casework is a UV coated Pre-finished Plywood. We use 3/4" plywood for the sides, top, bottom, and shelves. The back is 1/4" pre-finished plywood. Nailers are 5" wide and are placed at the the top and bottom of each cabinet for attachment to the wall. Tall cabinets will have a nailer in the middle as well.
FRAMELESS / FULL OVERLAY
Our cabinets are made in the frameless style. The cabinet carcass parts are edgebanded while the doors and drawer fronts fully overlay the cabinet box edges. Gaps between doors and drawer fronts are maintained at 1/8" for a sleek, modern appearance.
CONFIRMAT CONSTRUCTION
West-World Cabinets uses confirmat screws for assembly. Confirmats are extremely strong while allowing for a very economical construction technique.
BLUM SOFT CLOSE DRAWER SLIDES
We outfit our drawer boxes with Blum 563H undermount soft-close drawer slides. These are one of the best slides on the market.
BLUM CONCEALED HINGES
Doors are hinged with the industry leading Blum concealed hinges. These hinges have adjustment in all 3 axes, allowing for perfect alignment of your doors.
MAPLE PLYWOOD DRAWERS
Our drawers are built with 5/8" Maple Plywood sides with the top edge banded to match. The drawer bottoms are 1/4" maple plywood. Both sides and bottom are made with a pre-finished material.
